EST in 2002, The Drum Studio – School of Music in Sarasota FL was my studio. Teaching drums, bass, guitar lessons, and rock band classes. The Drum Studio was a local fixture in the Sarasota music scene and embedded in many charitable organizations, most notably, Giving Hunger The Blues Street Festival, raising over One Million Dollars for All Faith’s Food Bank and Child Protection Services of Sarasota FL. Owner, Sandi Grecco facilitated the GHTB youth stage, hosting over 500 youth performers from 2005 to 2016. With the support of community-minded people and the local music scene, The Drum Studio officially opened in 2002. That location has closed due to the pandemic. New location in St Petersburg, FL. Sandi Grecco is the innovator of music lessons for rock band classes and gaining real-world experience by performance in Sarasota County. Years before start-up rock schools, The SOR movie, or giant corporations, Sandi Grecco was teaching her students, aspiring musicians, to rock!
